Ahh, Thursday afternoon...what a beautiful day. Antonio Melendez and his sweet music filled the air here this afternoon, while people read their books, conversed about art and love, studied, and created. The day was filled with creativity and beauty ! Sometimes things can be just like you imagined and more. A confirmation that there is an abundance in the universe and that Art it Alive !
You all inspire me :)

Theater- Comedy Improv
The Theater - Comedy Improv here at The Dancing Otter is done by RCC's Drama Club "Dig It". They filled the seats last night and had their audience laughing for 2 straight hours ! How refreshing ! They were joined by special guest, Bobbi Kidder, for one of their Improv Games. This group is such a special treat and adds such a diversity to our weekly events. (And we hope Morgan will be back at their next scheduled night - Get well Morgan!)
Poetry Slam
WOW ! The Poetry Slam went wonderfully on Tuesday evening ! What a talented group of poets participated in the Slam. (And for the most part, it wasn't even our regular poets from Poetry Night, but mostly new poets - how exciting )
Everyone did such a great job and it was really appreciated. I hope you all come back to next months slam and go at it again.
Congragulations to Miranda for being the winner of the Dancing Otter's First Poetry Slam ! And special thanks to the 5 judges that we chose that night.

Theater - Comedy Improv at The Dancing Otter
Wow, I can't believe that it has been so long since I have posted. I hope to change that and be more consistent.
We have had some wonderful events recently at The Dancing Otter.
The Rogue Community College Drama Club called "Dig It" has started doing their Theater - Comedy Improv here every other Wednesday evening.

If you enjoyed the tv show, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, you will love these really talented students. Their next performance is on August 19th.
